Plant Hunters Fair at Dearnford Lake
Hooksgreen Herbs are looking forward to starting the plant fair season off this weekend at Dearnford Lake, on Sunday March 22nd
At Dearnford you can stroll around the lake or simply relax and enjoy the wildlife.
Dearnford Lake is a picturesque, 50 acre site on the outskirts of Whitchurch, Shropshire, close the borders of Cheshire and Wales.
The lakeside walk and woodland tracks around Dearnford give you the chance to spot an abundance of wildlife. Once you’ve worked up an appetite you can enjoy a delicious breakfast, lunch or afternoon tea in the lakeside café. The café’s menu changes with the seasons and is full of quality, local ingredients. The Full English Breakfast and Eggs Benedict come highly recommended!
There is a lakeside play area and lots of space for children to play. Dogs on leads are welcome around the lake and in the café.
The fair will be held right next to the café and lake.
