After many years of success at the RHS and other trade shows, Hooksgreen Herbs have taken the decision to cut back in the number of shows we undertake each year as of this season. 

We are incredibly proud to have won numerous Medals over the years for our show stands including, Gold’s at RHS Flower Show Tatton Park 2019, RHS Hampton Court Palace Garden Festival 2019, Gardeners World Live 2019 and most notably at RHS Chelsea Flower Show 2013. We have won the Colin Spires award on no less than 4 occasions which is an award given by the RHS to an RHS exhibitor judged to have produced the best display of herbs during the show season. 

Preparing for a show takes a huge amount of time and effort, not to mention the extra resources required for watering and feeding to get plants looking show ready. Focusing on local shows means we no longer need to grow plants specifically for display and cut our carbon footprint by not driving hundreds of miles with a lorry full of plants multiple times. 

We have not taken the decision lightly, but want to take the time to focus on what we love which is growing fantastic quality culinary, medicinal and scented herbs and selling them direct to the public through local plant fairs, open days and of course our website. This is how the business started for us and we are truly delighted to be going ‘Back to our Roots.'
