Apple Mint(Mentha suaveolens) Herb in 9cm Pot
Apple Mint is a spreading plant that is best contained in a pot. Apple Mint has rounded green leaves with beautiful spikes of white flowers in late summer which are very attracted to butterflies. Apple Mint is sometimes confused with Bowles Mint which has a large more rounded leaf.
Herb Usage
Apple mint is cultivated as a culinary herb with an aromatic fruity spearmint flavour and can be used in mint sauces and jellies. Excellent when added to the cooking of new potatoes.
