Ginkgo Tree (Ginkgo biloba) Herb in 2 litre Pot
The Ginkgo Tree is also known as the maiden hair tree and also spelt as "gingko" is native to China, where it is widely cultivated. It has various uses in traditional medicine and as a source of food. It is well known for its beautiful fan-shaped leaves which turn a wonderful bright yellow in autumn before falling. This tree is perfectly hardy but slow growing and deciduous.
The tree could reach 25m High by 8m wide but this would take over 20 years and the right conditions.
Herb Usage
Ginkgo is an ancient plant extract that has been used in China medicinally for thousands of years. Ginkgo is said to be an effective anti-inflammatory, and have antioxidant and circulation-boosting effects. It is also said to help with improved cognitive function, to improve mood, increase energy, improve memory and reduce symptoms related to chronic diseases such as asthma, ADHD and for treatment of dementia.
