Some Herbs may be too tall for our standard packaging and will be trimmed to fit. This will not be detrimental to the plant but will mean that these herbs will flower later in the year.
The Blister packs used to protect our beautiful herbs during transit are made from 100% recycled plastic and can be recycled kerbside.
Lemon Mint is a native of Europe, but has been naturalised worldwide. Mint will thrive anywhere, preferring moist partly shady areas, and are easy to grow from cuttings or replanting of runners. To control spread, this herb should be planted in sunken bottomless containers and kept well watered to ensure good leaf production.
Lemon Mint will produce small mauve flower spikes in mid to late summer, and grow 30-45cm tall.
The lemon scented leaves blend well for use in cordials and salads, and they make a refreshing lemony-mint tea. This mint variety is also used in sauces to compliment fish dishes.
Our potted Lemon Mint herb plants are generally available to buy online between March and September.
