A Beautiful shrubby aromatic perennial with a creeping rootstock. It has long kitten like purple tails giving a lovely upright show from July to October.
Herb usage
A bitter, astringent, anti inflammatory. Used for a number of remedies as well as being combined with other herbs. Leaves are used to flavour liqueurs vermouth and tonic wines.
