Salvia patens 'Cambridge Blue'(Sage'Cambridge Blue') Herb Plant
Sage 'Cambridge Blue' is also known as Gentian sage 'Cambridge Blue' is a fantastic sage, it has wonderful Moroccan-blue hooded flowers about 2.5cm in size on erect stems with large, oval, pale green leaves. An excellent garden plant and cut flower, this variety can be planted in sheltered borders, patio containers or kept in the conservatory. Cambridge Blue' is a tuberous-rooted herbaceous perennial which given the right conditions could reach 1M in height, in mild areas tubers can be left in the ground otherwise simply lift and store as you would Dahlia tubers until spring.
Preferring well-drained sunny positions, this is a good plant to put in a container, where it can be moved into a sheltered position over winter.
