"February made me shiver!"
Don Maclean was right in his song "American Pie", February has been cold and the snow has delayed the outdoor jobs we had hoped to complete. The new shade tunnel frame is taking shape and will provide needed extra shelter in the early spring.
Seed planting is now in full swing and the Borage and Painted sage are in ready for early flowers in May and June. We have added new additions to our range:
Comfrey Hidcote Blue.
Comfrey Hidcote Pink.
The white Foxglove Digitalis purpurea 'Albiflora'.
Pulmonaria 'Blue Ensign'
Cichorium intybus 'Alba, White chicory
Cichoium intybus 'Roseus' Pink chicory
All the above are growing away nicely in the polytunnels waiting for the weather to warm up and are available on our website.
The first plant fair at RHS Wisley is on 23/24 March and we are all looking forward to getting started!
