Some Herbs may be too tall for our standard packaging and will be trimmed to fit. This will not be detrimental to the plant but will mean that these herbs will flower later in the year.
The Blister packs used to protect our beautiful herbs during transit are made from 100% recycled plastic and can be recycled kerbside.
As the common name suggests, the leaves of the Dwarf Curry Plant smell strongly of curry when brushed, making this an excellent aromatic to place along paths or walkways, it grows to a height and spread of approx 40cm. Perfect for beds and borders, Containers, Gravel, or Ground Cover. It is low maintenance and the silvery grey leaves make it great for baskets, bowls and tubs, particularly if planted at the edge to allow the plant to show its ability to trail.
The narrow, silvery-grey leaves of this dense plant are very attractive, and the small, everlasting, bright yellow flowers it produces in summer are a delight, and as they keep their colour when dried, can be used for arranging.
Dwarf curry plant prefers a sunny, sheltered position on well-drained soil, soil can be poor to moderately fertile, but protect from winter wet and cold dry winds, if you live in a cold area then it may be advisable to take cuttings of shrubby species in summer and overwinter in frost-free conditions. Regular pruning is necessary to maintain a compact plant.
The essential oil of the Curry Plant is said to be anti-bacterial.
Our potted Dwarf Curry Plant herb plants are generally available to buy online between April and September.

Plant arrived in excellent condition
This was just one of several herbs ordered from Hooksgreenherbs all of which arrived in beautiful shape and seeming very healthy and in record time - but they have yet to be planted out, still I have high hopes. Few other firms seem able to supply such a range of herbs at such a good price. The dwarf helichrysum is a little darling, perfectly formed and with a fine distinctive fragrance. My only quibble would be with the amount of plastic used in the packaging.
slightly pot bound - it was ready to go out in the big wide world!
