Jacob's Ladder 'White' (Polemonium caeruleum white-flowered) Herb in 1L Pot
Jacobs ladder 'White' is an attractive vigorous upright perennial with light green pinnate leaves the arrangement of which give the plant its common name. Jacobs ladder will grow to a height of 75cm it develops clusters of white flowers with yellow anthers. Cut back after flowering in June to enable a possible second flush of blooms in the early autumn.
Jacobs Ladder will grow in any fertile, moist but well-drained soil preferably in full sun or partial shade. Will look good in the herbaceous border or in a more informal Garden such as a wildlife Garden.
Herb Usage
White Flowered Jacob's Ladder is grown primarily today for its ornamental properties it was used medicinally by the Greeks against the bites of venomous beasts!
