Autumn Sage 'Icing Sugar' (Salvia greggii 'Icing Sugar') Herb in 1L Pot

Autumn Salvia 'Icing Sugar' has two tone dark and pale pink flowers with small narrow leaves.  Autumn Salvia 'Icing Sugar' loves the sun as it is native to Texas and Mexico.  It has evergreen leaves and despite its name flowers from Jul to September.  Autumn Sage prefers a sunny spot it enjoys moist but well drained soil, flourishing in a well drained border or in a large pot. The ideal time for cutting back flowering shrub sages, is the Spring once new growth can be seen and risk of frost has past. Cut up to half the plant back shaping as needed. If Sages are becoming leggy then a light summer cut may be required. Dead heading the old flowers will encourage new flowers all season.

Sage has been used for centuries as a culinary herb. The Autumn Sage 'Icing Sugar' is grown as a perennial herb plant primarily for its flowers, which are highly attractive to bees and butterflies. However, the leaves and flowers can be used to flavour food and drinks
