Sage 'White Trophy'(Salvia patens 'White Trophy' )Herb Plant
Sage 'White Trophy' is the finest white Salvia patens available, with very large (2") flowers that are pure white but age to pale blue. Preferring well-drained sunny positions, it will tolerate a little shade however. Water it regularly and provide rich, well-drained soil. In mild areas tubers can be left in the ground otherwise simply lift and store as you would Dahlia tubers until spring. This is also a good plant to put in a container. As with all Salvias it is attractive to butterflies and other pollinators.
Herb Usage
Sage has been used for centuries as a culinary herb, Sage 'White Trophy' is grown as a perennial herb plant primarily for its flowers, which are highly attractive to bees and butterflies. However, the leaves and flowers can be used to flavour food and drinks
