Teucrium scorodonia 'Crispum' (Curly Wood Sage) is a low growing perennial spreading plant with green heart-shaped leaves looking best throughout the summer and into Autumn when the leaves are tinged with red, the white flowers appear from late June onwards. Curly Wood Sage is a great edging plant adding a different texture to your border or herb garden and a great ground cover plant. Plants may be pruned to keep tidy.
Herb Usage
The whole herb plant can be used, harvested in July and dried, the bitter tasting leaves can be used in Beer-making !
