Some Herbs may be too tall for our standard packaging and will be trimmed to fit. This will not be detrimental to the plant but will mean that these herbs will flower later in the year.
The Blister packs used to protect our beautiful herbs during transit are made from 100% recycled plastic and can be recycled kerbside.
Anthemis tinctoria is a Hardy Perennial it is also known as Golden Marguerite or Ox-eye Chamomile. It has pretty lemon-yellow daisy-like flowers from July to August, followed by seeds which ripen from Aug to September above finely cut aromatic foliage. Good in a sunny well drained border these drought tolerant plants will be a magnet to bees and butterflies. Support with brushwood in late spring before the flowers appear. After flowering cut back the faded stems to the ground to encourage new growth from the base of the plant.
It has no culinary uses but as its common name suggests it was used in the past to dye fabrics producing excellent yellow, buff and golden-orange dyes.
Our potted Dyer's Chamomile herb plants are generally available to buy online between march and September.
