Sage sp.'Lady Camilla' (Salvia sp. 'Lady Camilla') Herb in 1L pot
An exclusive flowering shrub Sage (salvia) in our collection at Hooksgreen Herbs.
This new plant is a great addition to our collection of over 50 sages (salvias), growing to 50 - 75cm tall, it has upright elegant stems from which warm almost salmon pink flowers appear starting in late spring right through to early autumn giving a fantastic display for the entire growing season. Salvia 'Lady Camilla' prefers a sunny spot in the garden, flourishing in a well drained site. The Ideal time for cutting back flowering shrub sages, in our experience, is the spring. Cut up to half the plant back shaping as needed. If sages are becoming leggy then a light summer cut may be required. Dead heading the old flowers will encourage new flowers all season.
Herb Usage
Salvia sp. 'Lady Camilla' has a fruity scent to the leaf and could be used in puddings and summer drinks to give a fruit undertone.
