Thyme is grown the world over as it is such a versatile plant, not only is its foliage is attractive, the flowers are long-lasting and very pretty, and it is drought tolerant - an overall easy-care plant. On top of that it is one of the most useful herbs for the kitchen.
Thyme 'Bressingham Pink' reaches a height of 10 cm and with its small dark green leaves and a profusion of bright pink flowers, this thyme is suitable for planting in the rock garden, herb garden or the front of a border, or between pavers so it will release its scent when trodden on or brushed past. Thyme is also known as very good container plant.
As with all Thyme it likes a well-drained light soil, and it should not be too rich in nutrients as this will only encourage the plant to grow 'leggy' and lose its compact shape, also ensure that the plant is cut back after flowering again to help maintain shape. Being a native of the Mediterranean it needs a place in full sun.
Herb Usage
Thyme 'Bressingham Pink's an excellent herb for brightening up a herb garden as edging or as a feature plant, it is extensively used as a path thyme between flag stones and within turf. It is often found on rockeries as it is more decorative than culinary.

Lovely little creeper
This plant has extremely pretty and I think unusual flowers. It is absolutely gorgeous and is in flower for quite a long season. Is wonderful for attracting the bees. It is a good ground cover plant and smells delightful. Can’t wait to see it in bloom. It has travelled well down to the excellent packaging this Company provide. All in all a really good buy.
